PanipuriThe panipuri also known as golgappa is a popular street snack in India, and people love to eat it at any way. It is a round in shape, hollow puri, fried crusty and filled with a mixture which is made by water, tamarind, chili, chaat masala, potato, onion and chickpeas. It fits completely in one's mouth due to its small size.

  • The name gol gappa refers to the fact that crunchy ball (gol) is placed in the mouth and eaten (gappa) at one time, without stinging.
  • Pani comes from the Hindi word and its meaning is water and puri (or poori) is the name of an Indian bread made by frying bread in oil.
